In Memory of
ANTHONY PAVICH

Tony Pavich, Developer and Realtor, passed away peacefully at his home on December 15, 2009 at the age of 55. He was born in Anchorage, AK, to Tom and Floye Pavich. Tony's family subsequently moved to Zephyr Cove when he was seven and it was there he attended Zephyr Cove Elementary School and George Whittell High School. He was regularly recognized for his remarkable scholastics and natural athletic abilities. Tony also attended the University of Nevada Reno, where he played basketball for Coach Jim Padgett.

After attending UNR, Tony spent several years working on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline Project with his dad and met many lifelong friends. Upon returning to Reno he obtained a Journeyman Electrician designation, and then joined his brother, Nick, in the real estate business. He was a member of the Reno Sparks Association of Realtors since 1979 and a principal in Pavich & Associates Realty since it's formation in 1988. Tony used his ingenuity and creativity in developing and selling several projects within the region and as far away as Texas. Tony's love for Reno/Tahoe and his visionary motivation will be greatly missed. Tony enjoyed many of the finer things in life; however, his true passion was in music. He cherished playing his guitar socially, with family and friends, and in the privacy of his home.

Tony was preceded in death by both parents and is survived by his loving brother, Nick Pavich (Lil), niece, Dominique, brother, Terry Cates, nephew, Patrick (Bonnie), nieces, Shelby, Katie, Lizzie, as well as several other extended family and friends.
